For this task we had to create a video in which we spoke about the conventions of a studio news report.
In the video we spoke about;
The presenter/news anchor:
- Their costume
- The framing of the shot
- The choice of presenter
- And their body language
Mode Of Address to the Viewer:
- The readers tone of voice
- Their accent
- The language they spoke in
- And their eye contact with the camera/viewer
Interviewing Experts And/Or Witnesses:
- The camera techniques used
- The Location in which we filmed
- The status of the interviewee
- The graphics used
- And the question and answer techniques
We decioded to take the route of a 'mick take' to show the good exmapls and the bad examples of these such conventions.
